Books, movies, people, travel, pets, nature, and the list goes on. I am continually amazed and appreciative of the experiences I've had. I'm also surprised at how easy it is to forget about them when the focus is more on what's not working, is missing, or isn't ok about life.
Time is such a precious commodity. I was reminded of this when I visited this post on the Emergence Biz blog. I've made it a practice to look at everything happening in my life as supporting me. It makes the challenging times less so and the beautiful ones more so.
What's had a positive impact on your life?

The first thing that comes to mind is my canine baby Gracie the Chihuahua. I never thought I could love a dog like I love her. In fact, I love her easier than I love anyone else in my life. I look at it as she's teaching me to practice letting the love flow. It begins with her so that it can flow to others :~)

It's so true Cassandra! I LOVE my pets, bro & sis cats - Joe & Stella. I really feel like I've become a more loving person because of them. They are such good givers and receivers of love.

My parents, wife and children are #1.
But pets are also special with the unconditional love. I had a parakeet with a deformed wing. It never slowed him down. Every day he would take off to fly and drop like a rock. Next day he would try again. Some would say he was dumb. I would argue he was just optimistic and never gave up.
