I woke up this morning with the idea of naming what was in front of me, followed by "Good." As in, "Floor, good," "Bathrobe, good," Shower, good." It seemed like an odd thing to do at the time...until I tried it. I hadn't realized how often I start my day, oblivious to all the good, supportive aspects of my life. Instead, my attention is at the helm of the to do list - before and after meditation.
After just a few hours of noticing, I'm amazed at how much good I'm surrounded by. Even though I didn't feel like I was thinking negatively, my presence was, well, not present. The more I paid attention to what was right in front of me, the easier it is to see and feel good wherever I go - including in people.
Tell me, what good is in front of you right now?

That is such a fantastic idea!
