Stuck in a funk or ready to take your high higher? Move your body.
It doesn't have to be a long exercise session and can be as simple giving yourself a good ol' shoulder roll. When you shift your body in any way, it shifts your thoughts, feelings, and helps to physically alleviate the stress that builds from all the habitual ways of moving.
I like to mix it up, take a different approach than the traditional, and throw in some literal perspective shifting movement. Here are some of my favorites:
Upside down sitting - Prop your butt up against the back of the couch, legs up on the wall, back where your butt would normally be, head hanging down where your legs would be. Great for the blood flow, oxygenates your cells. Issues that you thought were a big deal, upside down, not so much. :-)
Stretch under your table - That's right, climb on under. Sure, you're limited to certain stretches, but hey, it makes you appreciate all the freedom that you have outside of the table. We get used to environments, habitually ignoring the spaciousness that surrounds us all the time.
Walk on your tippy toes - Yes, I said tippy toes. I worked with kids for 8 years and I will insert these kid friendly phrases as often as possible. Walk across the length of your house on the tips, flap your arms while you're at it. The silly factor alone will create some fresh air in your head. New perspectives coming your way.
What movement/exercises do you do that help you say "I feel new again, like a spring chicken. I have now solved all my problems." Do tell...

Great tips! I will implement them tomorrow. It is so important to get some sort of exercise in everyday. It gets both the mind and thee blood flowing!

Those are great ideas.
When I'm at work, I'm in front of a computer all day on the third floor of an office building. When I feel myself getting in a funk, I take 5-10 minutes and go up and down the stairs!
It gets my blood flowing and clears my head.
