When you reach for food, what guides you?
- Stress
- Hunger
- Craving
- Emotions
- Intuition
- Nourishment
- What's available
It can be easy to forget what motivates our choices, unless we plant a seed to remember. Just the simple act of asking what's guiding your food choice is enough for you to assess whether you're making a healthy one. While it's important to eat healthy, it's essential to let it go when you don't. I've worked with a number of people wanting to lose weight, and I'm convinced it was the guilt and harsh attitude after what they ate that had more of a negative impact than the food itself.
Be your biggest supporter instead of your harshest critic. You deserve nothing less than nourishment.

I have noticed the guilt in my patients too! I end up spending a LOT of time coaching them out of it! Anyone who's trying to lose weight out there, the secret is to LOVE your body, GIVE it what it needs to be healthy and TRUST that it will work itself towards health.
